Using the Theme Customizer
Resteau is customizable via the WordPress customizer. Here, you can change the various theme options and customize the colors of your site. To access the theme customizer, click Appearance → Customize in the WordPress admin menu. Below is a list of all the options available.

Go to Appearance → Menus. There are three menu locations in this theme:
This menu will be shown in the header area to the left (on the demo this is the ‘Book a table’ link). This theme does not support dropdown menus. You can only add first level items to the menu.
This menu will be shown in the footer area above the copyright notice. This theme does not support dropdown menus. You can only add first level items to the menu.
This menu will be shown in the slide-in sidebar area.
You can use links to the homepage items that scroll to that specific item upon click. To use this effect go to Appearance → Menus. Then create a new menu or edit an existing one. To add a link to a homepage item click on the tab called Homepage items. You can change the name of that link to anything you want and it will automatically link to that homepage item.
If the homepage items tab doesn’t show, click on Screen options at the top of the window and check the option Homepage items.
The widget section of Resteau is located inside of the slide-in Sidebar panel. Go to Appearance → Widgets and simply drag & drop widgets inside the sidebar area.
The theme is fully compatible with the Restaurant Reservations plugin. You can display the restaurant reservation form by using the following shortcode: [booking-form]
In the demo, the booking form was shown inside a homepage item with the layout ‘Blocked text’. The shortcode was put inside the extra content editor.
